On December 25, at the end of the passing year, the Moldavian Kyokushinkai Karate Championship was held in the city of Causeni. More than 200 athletes from different cities and clubs of our republic took part.
On December 18-19, a major international tournament “Open Baltic Cup” was held in Kaliningrad (Russia). Representatives from 16 countries took part in this tournament. The Moldavian team was represented by 7 participants. In tough fights, our fighters managed to win 4 prizes.
12/04/2021 The fourth annual Dacia Fighting Cup tournament took place in Bucharest. Moldova was represented at this tournament by 30 participants, of which 28 took prizes in the kumite section and 4 in the kata section.
On November 26-28 in Chisinau, in the gym of the State University of Physical Education and Sports, training camps of the National Sports Federation of Kyokushinkai Karate of Moldova “Autumn School 2021” were held. More than 100 Members of the Federation from different clubs of Moldova took part in the School
The long-awaited European Championship took place after a year of forced break. The overall result of Moldova is as follows: One first place Two second places Two third places.
On October 30, the Ukrainian Open Cup was held in the city of Dnepr. The tournament was attended by a distinguished guest - Shihan Katsuhito Gorai 7 Dan (Director of the International Department of IKO Kyokushinkaikan) The Moldavian team was represented at this tournament with 15 participants.
10/17/2021 In Chisinau, in the gym of the State University of Physical Education and Sports, the International Kyokushinkai Karate Tournament “8th Open Cup of Moldova” was held. More than 350 participants from 8 countries were registered for this tournament.
On September 25, the International Tournament “Kyokushin Belgrade Trophy 2021” was held in Belgrade (Serbia). Representatives from 7 countries took part in this tournament. Moldova was represented by 26 sites. 24 of them were among the top three winners in their categories.
From June 20 to 27, in Kranevo, Bulgaria, the Summer Camp of the Kyokushinkai Federation of Moldova was held under the leadership of IKO Branch Chief Sensei Traian Velixar. 250 people from different regions of Moldova took part in this camp.
On April 23-25, the “Spring School 2021” training camp was held in Chisinau. More than 100 representatives from different clubs and regions of Moldova took part in these camps.
