On September 25, the International Tournament “Kyokushin Belgrade Trophy 2021” was held in Belgrade (Serbia). Representatives from 7 countries took part in this tournament. Moldova was represented by 26 sites. 24 of them were among the top three winners in their categories.
From June 20 to 27, in Kranevo, Bulgaria, the Summer Camp of the Kyokushinkai Federation of Moldova was held under the leadership of IKO Branch Chief Sensei Traian Velixar. 250 people from different regions of Moldova took part in this camp.
On April 23-25, the “Spring School 2021” training camp was held in Chisinau. More than 100 representatives from different clubs and regions of Moldova took part in these camps.
On April 16-18, 2021, a major international tournament “Belarus Open Cup” was held in Minsk. More than 500 athletes from 15 countries took part in this tournament. Our country was represented by 15 athletes.
On March 27, the Ukrainian Open Championship was held in Dnepr (Ukraine). More than 500 athletes from all regions of Ukraine took part in this tournament, as well as the team of the Republic of Moldova consisting of 15 athletes.
On February 19-22, a major international tournament, the Russian Open Junior Cup, was held in Moscow, in which our athletes also took part. The only medal for the team was brought by Nikita Egorov, a graduate of the Ippon club, who took 3rd place.
On January 22-24, the Winter School of the National Sports Federation of Karate Kyokushinkaikan of Moldova was held in Chisinau. More than a hundred athletes took part in the training camps. During the training camp, participants practiced elements of basic and sparring techniques, studied kata and participated in fights.
On February 29, 2020, the National Kyokushinkai Karate Championship of Moldova took place in Chisinau. Many clubs from all over the country and about a hundred athletes took part in the competition, demonstrating a high level of technical and physical training.
